LGIT Loss Control Training Program
The Local Government Insurance Trust encourages its local government
members to take advantage of the loss control training program.
The training program includes, and is not limited to:
· National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course
· Property Valuation Survey seminars
· Online trainings
· Training Grant Program
· Video Library
· Courses certified by the Academy for Excellence in Local
Governance for public officials
· Subsidization of the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course
for law enforcement officers at the Maryland Police
and Correctional Training Commission
We welcome your suggestions and feedback. If LGIT does not provide
the training that you are looking for, we will assist in finding
the training offered by another organization. Other such training
organizations are listed in the Maryland Training Clearinghouse
on this website.

WebEx. Instructions for logging on/dialing into the seminar at the specified time are provided below. If others within your organization would like to attend, please invite them to "double-up" on your computer and speakerphone.
Before you log on, please take note:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. When you dial into the Web seminar, PLEASE MUTE YOUR PHONE. This is VERY IMPORTANT. All sounds will be broadcast to all the participants if your phone is not muted.
3. Please encourage as many staff and employees as possible to share computer terminals and make them aware of these instructions.
4. After the Web seminar, please complete the evaluation form and let us know how many persons attended this seminar.

FIVE MINUTES BEFORE THE ACTUAL SEMINAR — CLICK ON THE SAME LINK.
Enter the meeting number and click "Join Now." WebEx will prompt you to call 1-866-647-1543 and enter the meeting number. It will then ask for your attendee ID. Just hit the #key. You will now be able to view the Web seminar and hear/speak over the phone.
